My name is Ryan Case, and I was born on November 18, 1996. I have high-funtioning autism, so I have trouble communicating. I took speech therapy until I moved onto high school. I have memorization skills, but I reading is not my strong suit. I like to watch shows such as Judge Judy, The Real Housewives, The People's Court, Raven's Home, and Mike and Molly. I enrolled in Montgomery College in fall 2014 then dropped out to get a paying job that requires high school diploma. I spend a summer playing games including Words with Friends, Homescapes, and Gardenscapes. My responsibilities are taking care of Sadie, my dog, organization, and being prepared for meetings.
This is where I've lived all my life.

In September 2014, my anger was out of control.
What makes me silly is movies that yell and use inappropriate language.
What makes me happy is eating Italian food, especially as birthday meals.
I sometimes hit people because I'm really mad. My mom made a story for me titled "No Hitting" to make sure I would never hit anybody. My mom also made me flashcards that showed a happy face and a sad face that my brother and sister made. I liked these cards because they helped me communicate with other people. I sometimes yell at people for asking me questions because I don't like to answer questions about myself.
I didn't want to go to prom when I was in high school because I didn't want to have a date. Somebody wanted to go to prom with me but not under my terms and conditions. I didn't stay at prom very long because I'm a morning person, and I wanted to be up early and ready to go to my volunteer job. My parents were very excited that I went to prom, so there were two sound files: one before prom and one after prom. Ms. Brown, my teacher, played the prom recap file for the class after mother's day, and the class thought it was a great story.

I was determined to pass bridge projects so that I would graduate on time. I experience test anxiety because I'm autistic. After my 18th birthday, it was time for me to have jobs that paid me money. I have done an interview at PetSmart, The UPS Store, and Panera Bread. I never got the job at The UPS Store just because it was seasonal. I ended up getting a job at PetSmart because of my experience with pets. I enjoyed working at PetSmart except for when I got bit by one of the dogs there. I like working with dogs because dogs are great pets. I'm dependable, a hard worker, and a problem-solver. I'm thankful that my mom was willing to drive me to Shady Grove Metro Station.
I felt upset when the virus first started because the non-essential businesses had to close down. I have been a member at LA Fitness since May 2019. I was wanting the virus to be over because I wanted the non-essential businesses to open back up. I'd been wearing a face mask to keep myself safe and healthy. Paul Miller, the overall manager, gave me the pet face mask so that I wouldn't keep wearing the masks that my dad bought online. My mom has helped me save money for buying groceries that I need. I have used my own money on my shopping adventures and meals that I eat at restaurants.
